I was at the show too....to add to the set list, this is what I remember (not in order) -- Angeles, Division Day, Rose Parade, Alameda, St. Ides Heaven, Biggest Lie, XO, another new one (XO he's played in Portland before -- I didn't recognize this new one) 2:45; and Say Yes...I think he did Pictures of Me too. Of course I don't remember the rest...my short-term memory is horrible; and, I was stressed out about getting my taping right. There might have been one "No Name" from Roman Candle, but none others from RC. The rest was from the Self-titled, new, and covers (covers previously mentioned by Katherine Powell)...

Another cute, Oscar related, story from the show: In the midst of the heckling/discussion about Titanic, someone yelled out "Where'd you rent the suit?" Elliott paused and said "I didn't rent it. I can wear a suit at a wedding or funeral.......or some other bizarre situation.." I thought that was a perfect retort. Why would someone assume he rented the suit?

Hey -- I fucked up taping the show. I borrowed someone's DAT; and, just fucked it up....the 16 minutes I got is absolutely the clearest and best sound Elliott boot I have thus far. It is CD quality. I'm so pissed I didn't get the whole show.

o my... sleepy guuurl this morning.... saw elliott last night at the showbox in seattle. he seemed really happy. I think that his girlfriend may have been there... before the show he came out and walked up behind this girl that was standing by me.... he came up to her and gave her a hug... from behind.. around the tummy.... The show was perfect!! his voice was steady and totally mesmerizing... I couldn't see very well.... but it didn't really matter all that much.
